John Partridge & Company launched in 1969 in the West Midlands in Staffordshire, England. The company, originally called “Landowner,” began by making fertilizer for local farmers and gradually grew into a business selling superior country clothing. The company’s classic wax and quilted jackets are still made in England and hand finished in StaffordshireThe team at John Partridge strives for sustainability by focusing on creating products that last a lifetime. The company encourages customers to repurpose their wax jackets by rewaxing and repairing. Prince Charles showed how easy that is when he was photographed wearing his John Partridge complete with multiple repairs, which give a great sense of character to his jacket and ensures he can wear it for years to come.
